"I hadn't thought of myself as a writer of books," says Linda Gordon Howard, a founding member of A More Perfect Union. "Writing was just an activity." But when asked during a session if anyone had a goal, Linda, an attorney and consultant, declared she wanted to publish a book about sexual harassment in the work environment.

From the get-go, Linda used skills learned through A More Perfect Union. She set attainable goals and sought support from her friends. And she asked herself what the "bigger dream" was. "I have wanted to be a part of a public conversation about how people create our world together", she says. "Once I connected with that, I got excited and my publisher felt my inspiration."

Linda's hard work is paying off. Her book, The Sexual Harassment Handbook: Everything You Need to Know Before Someone Calls a Lawyer, is scheduled for release through Career Press/New Page Books next February. "It is in fact a dream come true," says Linda. "It's something I said I'm going to do and darned if I'm not making it happen."
